While WES does not manufacture, design, or contract the manufacturing of any products, we recognize the importance of our role as an electrical distributor in facilitating access to relevant regulatory information.

Our Position in the Supply Chain

As a distributor, Wholesale Electric Supply Company of Houston, Inc. does not engage in the manufacturing of the products we supply. Consequently, we are not able to independently issue regulatory declarations pertaining to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), California Proposition 65, Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS), the European Union Persistent Organic Pollutants (EU POPs) Regulation, the EU Battery Directive, or Conflict Minerals Reporting Templates (CMRT), the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), or the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.

These declarations require detailed material composition and compliance data that can only be accurately provided by the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). We recommend reaching out directly to the respective manufacturers for the most current and accurate regulatory information.

We cannot independently verify material content or sourcing details, nor can we guarantee the completeness or accuracy of supplier responses. Due to our role as a distributor, WES cannot directly influence upstream sourcing decisions, product formulations, or smelter engagement.

Nevertheless, we remain committed to promptly sharing any available documentation from our suppliers in response to customer requests and to supporting our customers’ compliance needs to the fullest extent possible.
