Conflict Minerals are natural resources controlled, extracted and smelted into tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold, by various armies, rebel groups and terrorist organizations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and surrounding countries. The profits from these activities are generated by using forced and child labor and are used to finance civil war, instability and general unrest in central Africa. The human suffering caused by these groups is unacceptable. As a result, Wholesale Electric supports the efforts of the international community and the United States, as detailed in section 1502 of the DODD-FRANK WALL STREET REFORM AND PROTECTION ACT, to make every reasonable effort that “Conflict Minerals” are not contained in the products we sell.

It is Wholesale Electric’s intent to assist our customers in obtaining accurate data to determine if “Conflict Minerals” have entered the supply chain. The DODD-FRANK ACT requires all manufacturers to audit their supply chains and report conflict minerals usage. We must rely on our manufacturing partners’ 2013 SD Reports for this data. Wholesale has queried our key partners, but it is undeterminable if “Conflict Minerals” are in the supply chain at this time. Wholesale Electric will continue its due diligence striving to eliminate “Conflict Minerals” from the supply chain.
