Biography

Ben Bendre joined Wholesale Electric Supply on November 2022 as Chief Information Officer. He comes to Wholesale with professional experience as a CIO/CTO Advisory Executive for mid-size to large enterprises and Transformation Leader for several complex Wholesale / eCommerce Digital Transformations across global geographies. He has led successful eCommerce, Warehousing, Device/Wholesale/Retail Inventory and Distribution Transformations and driven thought leadership for IBM.

Ben was a senior member of IBM’s Global Center of Competency for Industry Solutions for Digital and IT Transformation, IBM’s leading industry SME on Towers & Fiber industries for multi-location deployments, founder Member of IBM’s Contact Center Optimization Practice (Since 1999), founder Member of IBM’s Customer Relationship Management Practice (1999-2013) and presented IBM’s point of view at several prominent Industry Conferences.

Ben holds an M.B.A. in Marketing/Finance from UGA (University of Georgia at Athens) and an undergraduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He lives in Friendswood with his wife, Rekha, and has a daughter and son who live and work in Dallas and Austin respectively.
